VINYL ME, PLEASE – THE VINYL BOOK YOU NEED

Everybody who’s loved contemporary music over the last 60 years has their own opinion about what albums are essential to their collection. I’m no different. But we can get stuck in a music rut and ignore the great music that might be a little outside our normal listening habits.

I got the book Vinyl Me, Please for Christmas. It was compiled by the folks at Vinyl Me, Please, a great Record of the Month Club. I was impressed by the broad range of music this curated collection included. I admit there were some essentials selected I’d never heard of. And I have a few opinions about some of my personal favorites that didn’t make their list. All in all though, a great resource.
