More than just the soundtrack to The Exorcist, the album is considered a landmark in the progressive rock genre from the late 1960s/early 1970s.  Recorded by Oldfield when he was just 19 years old, he also played most of the instruments himself. It was the first album released by the new Virgin Records.  The album is used, but both the cover and the album are in excellent condition.*
